Arthur Jerry Kremer of Island Strategies, Inc. Retained for Lobbying Work
for NYS Correctional Officers and Police Benevolent Association, Inc.

Island Strategies, Inc., one of New York State’s leading public affairs and
lobbying groups, has announced that the New York State Correctional Officers
and Police Benevolent Association, Inc., has retained the services of former
State Assemblyman Arthur "Jerry" Kremer of Island Strategies to handle their
legislative lobbying work for the 2005 Albany session. The organization,
which is one of the largest employee organizations in the state, has 23,000
active members.
Kremer currently provides lobbying representation for General Motors,
DMJM+Harris Engineering, Caesar’s Entertainment, Altria, Canon USA and
Cablevision, as well as a number of key trade groups. Among the members of
his professional staff are Keith Fink, son of the late Assembly Speaker,
Stanley Fink.
In a long and illustrious career, Kremer served twenty-three years in the
New York State Assembly and was Chairman of the Ways & Means Committee for
twelve of those years. He served by appointment of the Governor to a number
of major boards and is a well-recognized figure in the halls of the Capital.
